A little second hand love

Recently I came across this sweet blog. One of the things I love is clicketty clicking on the links that are sharing their Flea Market Finds. Today I thought I would play along and share my favourite find this week. I love op shopping and have been lucky enough to pick up some real treasures. Today I'll show you this one.

I think it will make a beautiful tote bag. For now it is happy on my dining table, despite it being a tiny bit short. I am kind of afraid to cut it up cos I really do love it. The best bit...it cost me $1.00

It's gorgeous at an unbelievable price. I would have trouble cutting into it, you could add more fabric around the edges to make it fit better.

Great tablecloth and price. It would look great as a bag or perhaps a skirt or as Alison suggested add more fabric around the edges to fit your table.

Isn't it awful when you find something beautiful you're afraid of making a mess of it so you do nothing with it? It only goes to show that value is more than $.

That's lovely! And I'm so afraid of cutting things sometimes, too. But then I see what others have made and I feel really inspired.
