Hello!

We've been travelling around Queensland for a little while. It's been fantastic! I've been keeping a travel blog but I have missed this little space and checking in on your blogs.

Lady Musgrave Island
After six and a bit weeks away, we are on the home stretch now.
Let me officially inroduce you to our dodgy old caravan. She's affectionately known as the Tardis (of Dr Who fame)

Tardis Pronunciation: /ˈtɑːdɪs/
Definition of Tardis

noun

  • 1a time machine.
  • 2a building or container that is larger inside than it appears to be from outside.

Origin:

the name (said to be an acronym of time and relative dimensions in space) of a time machine which had the exterior of a police telephone box in the British TV science-fiction series Doctor Who, first broadcast in 1963

SOURCE

We're obviously running with number 2. The Tardis was discovered on a friend of a friends farm and hadn't been used for sometime. $1250 later, a few additions, some tlc and she was ready for a road trip.

Hi Lea, I was wondering where you'd got too...
All that washing - so funny.
Now you've made me want to go and see the Big Mango! (even though it looks more like a big egg!)
Safe travels for the last bit of your journey x

Good to see you back in blogland. I have missed your posts.
All the pretty vintage linens in the van. The cushion looks right at home.

Only just saw this post today, so nice to hear you are on such an exciting adventure. Enjoy every minute, who new there was a big mango? When I was about 10 my mum indulged my ultimate holiday of seeing all the big things on the sunshine coast, it was the best holiday ever! mel x

Did you know I was THIS CLOSE to moving to Bowen 20 years ago? Boy my life would have turned out differently if that hadn't fallen thru!

Tassy and I loved reading about your adventures.
