My Place and Yours

I'm joining in once again with My Place and Yours. I loved having a stickybeak at everyone's shelves last week!

This weeks theme is 'my pincushion'.

I'm showing off my brand new pincushion.
When I broke my most perfect piece of milkglass a couple of weeks ago, I rushed out to get superglue that night. Who knew there were seven different options to choose from? I chose the Tarzans Grip for no other reason than it had a big muscly man holding open a lions jaw. I thought that would glue it for sure.

I superglued it back together-BADLY but I just couldn't throw it out. A revamp was in order... maybe a candle, or pop a succulent in it and then I thought... pincushion! While I really wish I didn't break my most perfect piece of milkglass, I think my new pincushion is probably the next best thing.

Check out stacks of lovely pincushions at Punky & Me.

Ok I think you may have redeemed yourself after the reckless desecration of milk glass incident. Gorgeous idea, and where did you find those pins? , I have been coveting them from Ivy nest as well. melx

Lea your new pincushion is just beautiful. I think you did a great job gluing it back together I would never have know if you hadn't told us. I think you've done a great job and now you still get to see your beautiful piece of milk glass each time you sew. :)
